I’m Lance J. Gosnell, a distant relative of Pauline, connected through familial ties with her aunt, Lela (Storment) Stacks being one of my great-grandmothers. My maternal lineage traces back to Pauline’s family, and her story has lingered in my consciousness since childhood. While the details of her demise were slightly misconstrued—her untimely end occurred within the vicinity of the University of Arkansas campus rather than directly on it—the mystery surrounding her death has fueled my curiosity for years. Eventually, I resolved to delve into the investigation myself.
